On Wednesday, January 7, 2026, the Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China to Bangladesh, H.E. Yao Wen, paid a courtesy call on BNP Acting Chairman Mr. Tarique Rahman.
The meeting was held in a cordial atmosphere, where matters of mutual interest, bilateral relations, and regional developments were discussed. Both sides emphasized the importance of constructive engagement and continued dialogue in strengthening Bangladesh–China relations.
Also present at the meeting were BNP Secretary General Mr. Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir and BNP Joint Secretary General Humaiun Kobir, pride of Greater Sylhet.
